BPN is seeking RN - Med Surg Tele that provides care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN-Med Surg Tele provides care for critically ill patients, monitors the condition of patients in telemetry units, and administers medication. They also advise patients and their families on post-hospital care. Due to the broad range of medical conditions RN Med Surg / Tele will encounter, they must be well-versed in various health conditions.
Must Haves:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- RN license
- At least 2 year of recent Med Surg tele experience
- Skills: IV Start and Telemetry, pre and post procedure patients cardiac pts., cardiac drips, PCI
- Proof of Covid & Flu Vaccination
Job Details:
- 13 week Travel Contract
- Estimated Weekly gross pay = $2,160 (travel stipend included)
- Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
- Weekend Requirement: Every THIRD weekend required.
- Guaranteed 36 hours a week
Patient Diagnoses:
Elective orthopedic surgery (hip, knee shoulder), Elective Colorectal surgeries , COVID, Medical patients (pneumonia, hyponatremia, encephalopathy, sickle cell, CHF, COPD & asthma exacerbation, pancreatitis, cellulitis, syncopal episodes, etc.).
