TENNIS TEACHING PROFESSIONAL POSITION OVERVIEW

Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness (MHTF) is looking for a Tennis Teaching Professional (TTP) to help us continue the rapid growth of our program. The TTP is a highly visible position requiring strong presence and communication skills. We are looking for an on-court leader. Our culture is one of professionalism, teamwork, respect and fun.

The general roles and responsibilities of the TTP are to deliver a range of services customarily provided by a PTR or USPTA professional. They must be able to provide high-energy instruction to clients of varying skill levels.

Desired Candidate Qualifications. The ideal candidate should be an engaging, charismatic, and energetic professional with a minimum of one year of experience teaching tennis.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills. leads and works well with others.
• Ability to develop players of varying ages and levels (adults and juniors).
• Wants to be part of the Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness community.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION.
PTR/USPTA certification preferred but not required.

MURRAY HILL TENNIS & FITNESS is a locally-owned business 22 miles outside of New York City.

We have six immaculate indoor tennis courts with state-of-the-art-lighting, Plexipave surfaces and PlaySight SmartCourt technology.

Since purchasing the facility in 2015 we’ve undergone two multimillion-dollar renovations, including a full refurbishing of the lobby, locker rooms and pro lounge, resurfacing the courts, and re-siding the exterior of the building. Our clientele include juniors from 3 to 18 years and adults of all ages. Our junior clinics utilize colored balls and a play-based model that keeps kids engaged while learning. Adult offerings include clinics, Cardio Tennis, private lessons, court time and teams (USTA and Garden State).

In 2019, Murray Hill garnered national recognition with a USTA nomination for top facility in the country. Our goal is to deliver a fully engaging and cutting-edge tennis and fitness experience — to create a space for community to learn, connect and enjoy.
