Position

We are looking for a Unified Communications Engineer who wants to join a winning team. The Unified Communications Engineer is responsible for the support of our current client base in a post-sales relationship. This includes all aspects of the Unified Communications sale including post-sales calls, assisting the client with on-boarding, conducting network discoveries, and providing technical direction and support. Our Mitel and Intermedia solutions require an understanding of UC desktop and mobile applications, unified messaging, contact center, SIP, carrier and LAN/WAN network architectures. We help our customers achieve business success through the proper design, implementation, and support of our solutions.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide technical recommendations during onboarding and the post-sales process to assist with UC and Technology roadmaps.
  • Provide accurate site assessments and surveys.
  • Create Scopes of Work and generate Bills of Material for sales.
  • Create customer pilot/proof of concept solutions.
  • Work in a team environment with other UC Engineers that support our clients.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally and work outside of normal business hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience with installing and supporting Mitel, Intermedia, or comparable UC products required.
  • Strong knowledge of contact center technologies with experience in integrations to third-party applications desired.
  • Strong knowledge of legacy VoIP solutions, standards, and protocols desired.
  • Familiarity with mobility and video applications a plus.
  • Networking skills including protocol and compliance knowledge required.
  • Certifications (A+, Net+, SSVVP, SSCA, etc.) a plus.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency in all work efforts.
  • Customer service-oriented and problem solver.
  • Exceptional team-related skills.
