Unix Administrator Job at Uma Technologies
Skill Set: Seeking qualified Systems Administrators with 6 to 10 years in AIX Unix environment with strong background of Red Hat Linux administration and configuration.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or similar area
Duration: 12 to 36 months
As a UNIX Team Lead your primary objective is to ensure that the Groups Unix, Red Hat Linux, VMWare, is and related infrastructure at client is effectively and efficiently meeting conversion and transformation times lines. Working with a team of Senior leads, oversee and provide leadership that will enable the success of the project
Respsonsibilities:
- Collaborating with, leading, coaching, mentoring and developing a team ofUNIX/AIX/Linux platform experts
Skills:
• Demonstrable experience of leading, managing, mentoring and motivating a technically focused team in an enterprise environment • Deep knowledge of: AIX UNIX, Red Hat Linux • Scripting ability and an overview of automation at scale • Understanding of VMware would be desirable but not essential for the role
