Help build a first-class AML Financial Intelligence Unit and mitigate financial risk by conducting quality consumer investigations.
About the Position:
The Manager I, Specialty Compliance and Ethics is an investigative function within Walmart's Financial Intelligence Unit. As an Investigator, you will conduct comprehensive consumer focused investigations by analyzing transactions, gathering intelligence, synthesizing information and documenting the outcome of the investigation and any mitigation actions.

About the Position:
The Manager I, Specialty Compliance and Ethics is an investigative function within Walmart's Financial Intelligence Unit. As an Investigator, you will conduct comprehensive consumer focused investigations by analyzing transactions, gathering intelligence, synthesizing information and documenting the outcome of the investigation and any mitigation actions.
Responsibilities include:
- Case investigations in a fast-paced production environment with set daily/monthly expectations.
- Maintain high quality work with set weekly/monthly expectations.
- Spotting, mitigating and escalating risk to leadership team.
- Working investigations that require analytical thinking.
- Completing open-source research and accurately applying findings to investigations.
- Filing regulatory reports including drafting comprehensive SAR narratives with leadership oversight.
- Occasionally supporting the organization through participation in projects.
- Participating in continuing education and training to increase knowledge of industry changes and developments.
You'll make an impact by:
- Using industry expertise to conduct comprehensive assessments by, synthesizing risk information (for example, likelihood, vulnerability, risk impact) to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of Anti-Money Laundering processes and procedures.
- Using influence to guide senior leadership decision-making toward strategic approaches for risk response and effective monitoring.
- Monitoring trends and using effective written and verbal communication to share with leadership.
- Identifying consumer activity that needs to be referred to law enforcement and sending them to leadership for approval.

- You have your Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.
- You have SAR investigative (writing and filing) experience.
- You're driven to execute and to act quickly.
- You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- You have experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
- Bilingual (Spanish) -preferred.
