This position will assist in the completion of Request for Services including event set up, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and delivery of large materials from central receiving. This position will be responsible for assisting in grounds maintenance including mowing, weed eating, cleaning walkways, mulching, planting, and pruning as well as the collection of trash and recycling.
Typical hours are Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Due to nature of position and departmental needs, there may be times when work is required after regular hours and on weekends. There may be changes in weekly and weekend schedule as needed. All Facilities Management staff are designated as University Critical Personnel in accordance with UNC Asheville policy.
