Job Title: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping and receiving tasks.

Shipping tasks include picking, packaging, material handling and shipment of orders.

Housekeeping tasks include sweeping the warehouse floor, disposing of cardboard and plastic packing materials and cleaning up as needed.

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Picking and wrapping orders after carefully reading the order and any additional instructions.
- Notify the Supervisor of problems with the orders or inventory shortages.
- Label the order in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practice.
- Maintain a clean work environment in the warehouse.
- Staging orders of finished goods to be loaded onto trucks.
- Load trucks of finished goods pallets and unload trucks of raw material.
- Downstacking/condensing of pallets of finished goods.
- Basic organization tasks to keep a neat and orderly warehouse.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written
- Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Physical Requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 100 lbs., and move materials up to 1000 lbs using a pallet jack

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED

SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 8:00pm to 5:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
