J.Crew is hiring temporary full-time roles through a local staffing agency. These positions have the opportunity to be hired on directly with J.Crew based on business needs and performance/attendance.
DESCRIPTION:
- Picks/packs, inspects, ships merchandise to customers
- Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF
- Achieves production (UPH) standards in all areas
- Achieves quality (IQA) standards in all areas
- Works with team members in support of process improvements and cost reductions
- Understands team objectives within assigned work area
- Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Must be able to assist in any area of merchandise processing during busy period
- Must be able to:
- Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, stoop for up to 10 hours at a time
- Climb stairs
- Stand for duration of work shift and walk/move continuously
- Work around moving machinery/equipment (i.e. a sorter)
- Adjust to climate changes; hot and cold extremes may occur in warehouse
- Perform frequent/reoccurring movement (folding, hanging clothing, packing, closing, ticketing, wrapping, etc.)
- Lift up to 50 pounds several times per day; weight requirements may vary within work areas; perform overhead lifting as necessary
- Work comfortably on open platform/loft areas that are elevated to a second or third story level
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic math skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or in team as assigned
- Quality conscious and detail oriented
- Understand and follow verbal or written instructions
- Some positions require the ability to use and read measuring tools, ex. tape measure
- Flexibility - may be required to work in other areas, overtime or extended hours

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
