Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Warehouse Person I (Parts) in Suwanee, GA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under daily supervision, this position is responsible for training and providing lead direction in the shipping and receiving aspects of the parts department. Also responsible for handling minor issues relating to parts personnel.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitor and report employee performance
  • Train new employees in picking, packing, shipping and receiving goods
  • Promote clear communication
  • Act as the first line of defense concerning personnel issues
  • Work closely with Parts Supervisor to plan and implement new strategies aimed at improving the parts department
  • Follow all CTPAT guidelines while completing work assignments and duties
  • Follow all OSHA requirements and safety program as detailed by the company Safety Officer
  • Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized and that all safety issues are reported
  • Maintain data integrity in SAP for all parts and accessory shipments
  • Coordinate with other departments with regards to shipping and receiving
  • Keep and maintain records of all pertinent information relating to the parts department
  • Process international orders and any other special carrier orders
  • Fill-out weekly supply requisition orders
  • Special projects as needed
  • Perform other job functions as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree or professional certification preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and respond to daily changes
