POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Technician will receive and store items in warehouse or storage room and use equipment and the required procedures for moving and unpacking materials.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pull and correctly pack orders, label with proper addresses and names, and prepare for shipping.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to confirm accuracy of all shipments. Examine packing slips, items with defects, and report damage or issues to President’s attention.
• Label new items and share with ROG department.
• Check in merchandise, FIFO stocking merchandise, stock down merchandise, label items, and pack for delivery.
• Use equipment and the required procedures for moving and unpacking materials, including a forklift to move crates.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist with cleaning and facilities maintenance, as assigned or requested.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
• Any other duties, as assigned.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach and lift with arms, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to frequently lift more than 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception; and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

The employee is working in an environment that is typically indoors in an office but may also require employee to be in outdoor weather conditions, with extreme cold or extreme heat.
