Position Summary

The Consultant will split time between the Workday Managed Services and Production Support offering operations and development, production support case resolution, and other client delivery work. They will be the point of contact for assigned post deployment clients across higher education, non-profit and healthcare industries and will build long term partnerships with clients by supporting their optimization journey via day-to-day support and proposing thoughtful solutions to fit the specific needs of the client. The Consultant will manage clients’ cases (assignment, progress, etc.), oversee associated special projects, and manage internal project billing, reporting, and documentation. They will troubleshoot and resolve cases in their area(s) of expertise within Workday HCM and/or Financials and coordinate with Huron and client team members on case resolution. The Consultant will also work on Workday optimization projects and other client delivery work including implementation projects.
This role will report to the Lead of the Workday Managed Services and Production Support. This role is supporting growing service offerings and will have exposure to sales, internal project management and staffing. Skillset development will be prioritized including maintaining and adding relevant Workday certifications. Travel is not anticipated for this role.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in consulting, human resources, payroll, finance, and/or accounting
- Previous Workday implementation experience
- Functional expertise in Workday HCM and/or Financials functions, process, regulations and best practices with and understanding of higher ed, non-profit and/or healthcare requirements across various types of institutions
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Current Workday certification in HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Learning or Recruiting..
- Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros)
- Experience with Smartsheets
- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree
- Experience as a functional application specialist
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration
- The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration
- Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams
- A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.
- The estimated base salary range for this job is $95,000 - $125,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $106,400 - $147,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
