Accounts Payable Specialist Job at Sandstone Site Services
Sandstone Site Services is looking for an Account Payable Specialists to join our team in our Mt. Dora office. The focus of this vital role is to Manage accounts and keep relationship with vendors by creating a positive working relationship. The Account Payable is responsible for addressing Vendor issues and responding to questions.
The ideal candidate comes with experience in account payable and reconciliation of accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
- Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or related field
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with Accounting software preferred
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, organize, attention to detail, and have a positive moral
