About Your New Position:
T2S Solutions LLC. is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join our exceptional team to assist us in developing and operating multi-mission payloads built for small satellites in support of the Army Futures Command APNT/CFT and the Space Development Agency (SDA) missions. This position will be part of a T2S Design & Development Team. The qualified Aerospace Engineer applicant will be an independent, rational decision maker who is also a creative and critical thinker as well as relentless problem solver who enjoys a challenge and working with a high-performing team in a dynamic environment. The Aerospace Engineer will interface with multiple engineering disciplines, teammates, and stakeholders to help us drive the development, design, integration, and testing of our multi-mission payloads.
How You Will Impact T2S:
As an Aerospace Engineer with T2S, you will apply your knowledge and technical expertise to support rapid development and operations of spacecraft and payloads, including leading various constellation, orbital mission planning events, and post-mission analyses. Eighty percent of this work will be done at one or more office locations, with some opportunities to work from home or remote on occasion. Occasional travel may be required.
- Directly report to the Program Engineer, and work most closely with the Modeling and Simulation Engineers in both unclassified and classified environments.
- Conduct analyses and trade studies that will support development of requirements and employment strategies for future Department of Defense proliferated low earth orbit (pLEO) spacecraft constellations
- Perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of space-based sensors and mesh communication networks to support payload requirements development and prediction of system key performance parameters.
- Participate in the planning and execution of operational demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies designed to improve the accuracy and responsiveness of Army Fires within the surface, air, and space domains.
- Provide additional support as Space Systems Analyst for the Army Futures Command (AFC) Assured Positioning, Navigation, Timing, and Space (APNT/S) Cross-Functional Team (CFT) Space Team
What You Bring To The Table (Required qualifications):
- The successful candidate must be able to qualify for and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering.
- MS in Math or Physics is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of aerospace-related professional work experience that can include time as a co-op student or intern; especially direct support for any space-domain projects
- Preferred Academic coursework or professional experience include one or more of the following: Control systems, aerospace dynamics and control, system or mission optimization, small satellite development, actuation, automation, and use of Monte-Carlo analyses
- Experience utilizing Matlab/Simulink, STK, C/C++, and/or Python in the conduct of space vehicle mission analysis and design, system-level trade studies, coverage analysis, constellation design, or CONOPS development.

- Experience with one or more of the following is also a plus: reaction wheels, control moment gyroscopes (CMG), optical communications links, GPS receivers, and RF-based sensors.
