Bartender Job at Lamplighter Inn
Must be available evenings and weekends.
Must have a good attitude and customer service experience.
Bartending experience is not required but a plus, will train the right person.
Must be 21 years old.
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated Guests.
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Serves wine, liquor, draft or bottled beer guests following company procedures to ensure that the financial transaction is correct and reflects all charges.
- Serves beverages in a timely accurate manner.
- Ensure a clean and well-stocked bar.
- Keeps the bar area, including bar top, floor and storage areas, clean and free of debris, dirty glassware, plates, silverware and trash.
- Performs shift opening and closing duties.
- Secures all monies at the end of each shift.
- Ability to operate POS, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
- Able to stand/walk for 100% of shift.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.
- Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to guests.
