Job Title: Concentrate Packager

Reports to: Lab Director

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for the packaging, labeling, and filling of all concentrate products to meet CGFR Group, Inc and its Clients’ quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Gram and package concentrate such as shatter, wax, live resin, rosin and vape cartridge.
  • Be able to accurately and efficiently weigh & label marijuana concentrates/products.
  • Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
  • Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
  • Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of concentrates they are packaging; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.
  • Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
  • Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
  • Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
  • Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by CGFR Group, Inc and the state while packaging concentrates.
  • Package staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every day.
  • Employee must package a daily average of at least 300 grams of finished product in an 8-hour period over a 5-day work week.

Additional Functions:

  • Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping grow staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the trimming department or working at other locations as needed.
  • Must work well with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedures, and techniques.

Job Specifications:

  • Packaging staff must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of CGFR Group, Inc.
  • Packaging staff must have a basic understanding of Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the MED; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable.
  • Packaging staff must demonstrate strong organizational skills, overall calmness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality.
  • Must be able to use a scale.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Colorado driver’s license or State ID card.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
  • Must obtain and retain a state-issued MED badge.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Education or GED graduate; some college or college graduate preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience packaging concentrates preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform sitting, reaching, and lifting and repetitive motions.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
