Coalfield Family Services is an administrative service organization that currently provides socially necessary services and mental health counseling. Our home office is physically located in Fort Gay, West Virginia but we offer services throughout the state of West Virginia. We currently have openings for family support workers, therapist and case managers and the details on those jobs can be found on our website.

Family Support workers: requires a high school diploma or GED. They must be able to pass a state, federal, and abuse neglect background check as well as have a clean driving record. The position is considered contracted 1099 work which means you would be considered self-employed and responsible for your own taxes. Pay is based on service being provided that ranges from $10-$14 per hour the bulk of the services being $14 per hour. Providers also gets $.40 per mile when driving to and from a clients home and the hours are mostly afternoon, evenings and weekends and are based on client and agency needs. Family Support Workers would be responsible for doing supervised visits, in-home supervision, transport, drug test and other things as needed. Once a FSW gets to the full caseload status they should bring home around 1,200-1,600 every two weeks between mileage and service money. The average yearly income is 30-35,000.
