Hours: This position is scheduled 10 and 12-hour overnight shifts working every other Wednesday -Tuesday. Additionally, this position requires that you are on-call one day per month during your 7 days off.

As a full time, exempt 7on 7off Virtual Clinical Staff Pharmacist with our CPS TELEpharmacy team, you will perform clinical and staffing pharmacist duties from a centralized state-of-the art facility located in Naperville, IL, with the latest resources and technology. As a CPS TELEpharmacy Pharmacist, you will fill orders for client hospitals by logging into the hospital’s order entry system remotely from the comfort of your own work station, located in our Naperville, Illinois office setting. Using your pharmacy expertise, you will ensure accuracy by reviewing patient-specific laboratory data, medication orders, and the patient’s medical history. When necessary, you will interact via phone and through live-feed cameras with nurses and physicians to resolve issues and patient/medication related questions. All employees work at an attractive facility located in Naperville, Illinois.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)
• IL licensure in good standing
• Ability & willingness to obtain additional state Pharmacist licenses as requested
• Recent clinical experience from either a residency or work experience strongly preferred
• May consider a recent graduate or new graduate with hospital internship experience or hospital rotations
• May consider pharmacists with long-term-care or retail experience with recent clinical experience
• Experience and skill with pharmacy technology and software
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Skilled, efficient data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Setting: CPS TELEpharmacy is a division of Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS), that provides remote pharmacy services to multiple hospitals and skilled nursing facilities across the U.S from a centralized location in Naperville, IL. This position entails a high degree of telephone customer service, and accuracy working on quad screens in a cubicle, call center environment, from a high-security, modern office building with many amenities including a cafeteria, relaxation area, complimentary beverages and free membership to a local fitness center.
