As the Controller, you are responsible for the month-end close preparation of the financial statements, general ledger management, payroll, cost accounting, inventory control, cycle counting, taxes, reconciliation, management reporting, and other miscellaneous projects. Accuracy and high attention to details are required. To be successful in the role, a controller should have strong financial management and analytical skills, as well as excellent communications and leadership abilities. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required and a professional certification CPA is preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

· Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

· Monitoring and managing the company’s financial performance and budgets, including preparing forecasts and analyzing variances.

· Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.

· Managing the company’s financial systems, including accounting software and financial databases.

· Collaborating with the other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure financial data is accurate and timely.

· Managing the company’s financial risk, including implementing risk management strategies, and assessing the company’s exposure to financial risks such as credit risk, interest rate risk, and foreign exchange risk.

· Overseeing the company's tax compliance and planning strategies

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Digital Marketing, or related field required.

· 5-7 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. CPA is preferred.

· Proficient communication and management skills, team player and ability to multi-task is required.

· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) to include ERP systems and ADP Workforce Now.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
