Position Summary

We are currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative in Austin, TX. This position will be responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and offerings.


Responsibilities


  • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
  • Address customer complaints by determining root cause of problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Process customer orders, changes, returns, and invoices according to established department policies and procedures
  • Enter and update order routing information in a variety of customer and transportation systems
  • Work closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit items
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns

Qualifications


  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to actively listen and adapt to a variety of characters
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Works well under pressure and remains calm in difficult situations
  • Detail-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1+ year proven experience in Customer Service or related field
  • 10% travel required to attend in-person meetings
