The Four Seasons Resort O ’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Director of Pool & Beach who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Director of Pool & Beach manages and oversees four distinct pool and recreation areas, as well as lagoon activities, including implementation of innovative menu options and creating and unsurpassed resort pool and beach experience. This individual leads the team in a constructive and efficient manner in order to create and maintain the highest level of service consistent with Four Seasons Standards. He or she will require great enthusiasm and commitment in addition to an acute ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Programs and directs activities and menu options in order to create an unsurpassed luxury resort pool and beach experience.
• Ensures quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as restocks and organizes all products and equipment to maintain an attentive and distinctive experience in recreation.
• Resolves guest concerns and interacts with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Observes physical condition of facilities and equipment in the department and makes recommendations and takes action for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Interviews, trains and schedules the Pool & Beach staff, as well as conducts performance evaluations and corrective interviews as needed.
• Responds properly in any resort emergency or safety situation.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Luxury Experience in Hospitality desired
• Cultural sensitivity to Hawai ’i and its workforce
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills
• Minimum Two Years Experience in Food & Beverage

Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
