LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER / WAREHOUSE
Hayes Pipe Supply, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a local delivery driver in our Murfreesboro, Tennessee branch.
We are looking for a career-minded individual seeking a long-term opportunity with a growth-oriented company. Experience in a waterworks, plumbing or construction industry is a plus. This position would include local deliveries to our customer job sites, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting customers in the warehouse.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Local deliveries to customer job sites which may also include unloading, ensuring accurate delivery of product and ticket with material.
- Maintain vehicle logs and bills of lading
- Report any accidents or traffic violations; report any vehicle damage or defects before and after scheduled route.
- Load trucks with daily deliveries; unload product at customer sites.
- Plans route to and from customer sites
- Work inside warehouse during downtime; assisting customers, receiving, stocking, etc.
Requirements:
- Driving experience with flatbed/strapped material
- Valid Class B CDL
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Tow motor/fork-lift experience a plus
