Job Description for eCommerce Operative

The purpose of the eCommerce Associate is to effectively generate revenue and to maximize traffic to our website, New Beginnings Resale.com through product listings, SEO keyword generation on maintaining our inventory online through various eCommerce sales channels. This position is in-store in Harbor Springs, Mi (not remote)

Primary Responsibilities: The product operative must be able to sort, provide quality assessment, anticipate value and identify specific product items of value to include but not limited to collectibles, antiques, clothing, furniture, electronics, and art work. The product operative is responsible to list, photograph, provide descriptions for online sale, and box, and ship packages. Associate must also organize, store, and maintain inventory system for E-commerce items. Must be detail oriented. This fulltime position works under the direct general supervision of the New Beginnings Resale Manager and Assistant Manager. Must ensure the Ecommerce product shipments are sent in a timely manner (48 hours). Answers the customer service issues within 24 hours. As part of the eCommerce operation, you will be part of a fast-growing Resale store team dedicated to maximizing the value of our donations.

• Requirements: Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community. Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of job. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry, for extended periods. Ability to move 20-50 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance. Ability to move up and down steps. Good communication skills are a must. Must act as a liaison between store and eCommerce. Must understand instore operations to create unity with all New Beginnings Resale Store staff & disciples. Must possess a professional demeanor, poise under pressure with strong attention to detail, and well-developed time management skills. Must be honest and punctual. Must pass a background check.
