Job details for the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) include, but are not limited to:
- Location: Factoryville, pa
- Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Hours: 6am - 6pm
- $17.50 per hour
- Weekly Pay via Direct Deposit or Paper Check
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is trained to provide emergency/ life support care at the scene of an accident or medical emergency. Under state law/practice guidelines, the EMT administers urgent/emergency medical attention to individuals of all ages, and when necessary, provides transportation to a hospital for comprehensive medical care under medical direction. EMTs may also function as care providers in industrial health clinic settings and health care facilities under the direction of the licensed nurse/physician.
Minimum Requirements of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
- Graduate of an approved EMT training program and successful completion of the written and practical examination administered by the State certifying agency or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
- Current registration with the state certifying agency and/or the NREMT.
- Able to provide proof of current CPR/BLS training including adults, children and infants.
- Able to provide proof of ACLS and/or PALS training.
