Energy Sales Job at NEW Cooperative, Inc.
To achieve sales and financial targets through direct sales with selected key accounts and prospects, promote and utilize NEW Cooperative energy promotions and technical sales tools utilizing sales and marketing resources, and accurately estimating product needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead sales activities for established and prospective NEW Cooperative farm & commercial energy account in territory as assigned.
- Develop and support strategies for selling to commercial account in assigned areas.
- Provide Energy Sales & Marketing Team Leader with an annual Sales Model by client annually.
- Achieve budgeted sales and revenue targets in energy division products.
- Attend and implement sales and product training as assigned/requested.
- Help develop and train other potential Energy Sales candidates surfaced withing the company.
- Develop and coordinate local marketing plan, customer meetings, local promotion and testimonials.
- Gain understanding of internal NEW Cooperative systems including ordering, shipping, billing, customer management, and tracking of all working with location office personnel.
- Collaborate with drivers and office staff to assist them with clients and to obtain sales leads.
- Must maintain a valid CDL with HazMat endorsement.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field or equivalent amount of education and experience.
- 2+ plus years experience in petroleum sales.
- Ability to achieve and maintain CES certification or equivalent training.
- Must have or the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsements.
- Ability to network for prospective energy accounts to forward sales for NEW Cooperative.
- Computer skills involving the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends and lift 50 pound packages.
