Job Summary

The Field Representative position interacts with new and current customers to help with retention and growth.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Visit idle accounts within the plant service footprint to assess the viability and determine an action plan working in conjunction with sales and operations teams.
• Assist in service route optimization by identifying areas for potential backfill with new customer acquisition and working with sales and operations teams to operationalize plans.
• Inspect UCO overflows and/or spills to determine whether instances arose from inefficient routing, theft, or customer misuse.
• Reviews daily service anomalies from route diver notes, providing follow-up actions and resolution plans as appropriate.

• Enhances and supports sales staff's accomplishments by providing the support necessary to maintain or grow the business.

• Assists with aspects of equipment installation, including the site survey, ensuring installation is done properly, and training customers on the use of equipment.
• Understands product values and equipment types and can justify equipment by location.
• Analyzes restaurants' needs while ensuring company success.
• Providing support to customers and resolving any issues as they arise.

• Reads and understands contract language along with knowledge of local ordinances
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one year of sales experience to corporate and large franchise operators in the restaurant or food service industry
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• An associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 2+ years of sales experience preferred
• Ability to learn new programs
• Strong communication skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Oracle CRM, Microsoft Office Suite experience

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally walk, stand, balance, stoop, bend and kneel.
• Occasionally must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in customer locations, office environment, and vehicle and plant locations.
