This position collaborates with advisors and clients to analyze immediate and long-term financial situations to create a custom-tailored financial strategy to help clients pursue their dreams.

Essential Functions

Determine clients’ current income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a custom-tailored financial strategy

Make recommendations in areas such as cash management, insurance coverage, and investment planning

Review client financial goals and plan to determine if life changes affect financial strategy

Identify problem areas and summarizes them for the advisor

Partner with advisors and tax professionals to fully understand clients’ financial goals and circumstances

Prepare financial-related analysis and research

Research new products and services that will enhance or fulfill clients’ short- and long-term financial needs

Assist the planning team to enhance and document planning procedures

Work with advisors to enhance their planning delivery process, using additional tools and techniques to enhance the client experience

Stay current on planning strategies, tax law changes, regulatory changes, investment products, market conditions, and planning software updates

Prepare insurance quotes, comparisons, and applications, if applicable

Assist advisors with client plan presentations when requested

Develop and sustain relationships with other in-house professionals and strategic alliances

Comply with all FINRA, SEC, and Commonwealth compliance requirements

Required Education and Experience

• BA or BS in Business/Finance/Accounting, equivalent work experience, or greater
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 Registered
• CFP® or CFP® *Preferred or (willing to obtain) candidate with at least three-five years of industry experience
