Interstate NationaLease is currently looking for full time Fuel Island Attendant for our Norcross, GA location. The ideal candidate must have a basic mechanical aptitude and background, basic understanding of vehicle maintenance including fueling, checking fluid levels, checking tire pressure, observing leaks, worn belts and hoses, and general knowledge of washing and detailing vehicles. The candidate must also have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Fuel all trucks and perform fuel island inspection on all trucks
• Keep fuel island clean and organized
• Wash the leased and rental trucks weekly
• Clean the cab of all transit rentals (includes vacuuming, cleaning the windows, and removing all trash)
• Keep supplies and washing equipment well stocked and in working order.
• Record time correctly and ensure it is charged to the correct job.
• Empty the trash cans in the wash bay and in the shop daily
• Pick up parts from local distributors and/or chauffer customers to various locations at the direction of the Service Manager
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical environment
• Mechanical ability to inspect vehicles in accordance with established checklists and perform minor repairs within experience level
• Ability to perform general building maintenance and service on shop equipment
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand repair orders
• Ability to communicate, understand, and follow directions from customers, supervisor, and coworkers
• Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn employer specific software
