This role sits in Ball Ground, GA at our operating company Foodmate, primarily supporting their business as a Duravant team member.

The Help Desk Administrator will interface with all levels of customers within the Foodmate organization. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and operation of all end-user devices (printers, PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, peripherals, copiers/printers/scanners, etc.) hardware, and software. The Help Desk Administrator will provide accurate, timely, and creative solutions to end-user computer and network problems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Perform on-boarding and off-boarding hardware, installations, configurations, and procedures with clear documentation
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems of IT equipment and software applications
  • Provide troubleshooting skills for software apps, hardware, and phone support
  • Perform time-sensitive mission-critical security procedures such as handling security alerts, running virus/malware scans, and removing/quarantining such threats
  • Know how to use, interact, & respond to tickets via the ticketing support system
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolutions by working with IT leadership to assist and help resolve
  • Ensuring that closed tickets have appropriate documentation
  • Inventory control of deployed and non-deployed equipment
  • Follow support processes, strive to improve processes and procedures
  • Adheres to standard IT practices, techniques, and established escalation processes.
  • Manages installation-related efforts and participates in IT projects across the organization.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade current IT equipment: PCs, Laptops, Tablets, smartphones, and all hardware/software.
  • Be available for remote or onsite technical support; typically 5-days a week, but may include after-hours work as necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Version 8 and above, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with Cisco Any Connect VPN
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, priorities, and tickets while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
