HR Generalist Job at Lake Region Healthcare
The Human Resource Generalist will perform human resources services for Lake Region Healthcare and assist with department functions as needed. This position serves as an important resource for prospective and current employees and advises and assists leaders with our talent acquisition process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Takes a lead role in managing the enterprise talent acquisition process and applicant tracking system.
2. Posts and advertises positions as requested by leaders.
3. Communicates with applicants and potential employees.
4. As appropriate, assists with screening of candidates.
5. Works closely with marketing on advertising initiatives (radio ads, social media posts, etc.)
6. Assists in the active recruiting of prospective employees.
7. Initiates partnerships with community members and organizations (schools, colleges, community groups).
8. Attends and/or coordinates career fair participation, promoting employment opportunities at LRHC.
9. Assists and conducts offers of employment and wage negotiation.
10. Assists with new employee First Day experience
11. Assists with initial benefit enrollment of new employees
12. Assists with offboarding of employees leaving the enterprise
13. Completes status changes as needed. Enters new hires and status changes into HRIS system/s.
14. Conducts or assists with employee feedback surveys
15. Researches recruitment and retention techniques and trends and implements as approved.
16. Meets with hiring leaders to problem solve difficult hiring needs.
17. Communicates and manages recruitment and retention programs and suggests improvements. (ex: referral program, sign-on bonuses, etc.).
18. Coordinates exit interview process; works with leadership
19. Compiles data and completes EEOC surveys and Affirmative Action Plan under director of HR Manager and Director of Human Resources.
20. Assists with various projects as assigned by the manager or director.
21. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Ideally a candidate would hold a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and have 2 or more years of experience as a member of an HR team. Experience in talent acquisition or recruitment is helpful.
