Clinical Psychologist Opening

Clarus Health Alliance is an independent practice providing behavioral health services for individuals in the central and southeast regions of Connecticut. We are recruiting a full time clinical psychologist to provide services for individuals with a range of psychological conditions. The duties of the position may vary, depending on the applicant's interests. We are recruiting 1) a clinical psychological who will exclusively focus on intakes and assessment and 2) a clinical psychologist who will specialize in providing psychotherapy. Age range may vary, depending on the psychologist's skill set and preferred populations. Service location will be predominantly in our Norwich office. We provide telehealth services and the clinician may work one day per week in our West Hartford branch (if desired).

Over the past 30 years, we have cultivated strong relationships with a wide range of referral sources in the communities surrounding Norwich and Hartford. Referrals come from a range of sources, including community mental health centers, local hospitals, schools, independent physician offices, universities, and independent mental health providers.

Competitive applicants will have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA (or equivalent) accredited graduate program. To be considered, applicants must be licensed or license-eligible for independent practice in the state of Connecticut.

Full-time providers receive a competitive compensation package that includes health insurance, coverage of annual license fees, a yearly spending budget, and a company funded retirement account. In our facility, psychologists set their own schedules, and so there is extensive flexibility in that regard.
