Licensed Mental Health Therapist Job at Northland Recovery Center
Northland Counseling Center, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MN is looking for a mental health therapist and/or a mental health practitioner currently seeking licensure. We are looking for someone who would like to join a progressively growing team and enjoys working with adults and families at our chemical dependency inpatient units.
Qualifications:
1. Clinical staff must be a qualified mental health professional or a mental health practitioner on licensure track as per Minnesota and Rule 29 regulations.
2. Must pass DHS background study
3. Ability to work as a team in a positive and cooperative fashion
4. Desire to work with clients in our residential units at Northland Recovery Centers
Core Responsibilities Include:
1. Provide services that are consistent with Northland Counseling Center, Inc.'s mission statement: Promoting Hope and Recovery with Mutual Respect, Trust, and Empowerment.
2. Build and maintain a full-time case load
3. Actively refer, engage, and coordinate with ancillary services provided throughout Northland Counseling Center, Inc.
4. Design and implement treatment plans that focus on recovery
5. Complete diagnostic assessments and progress notes following documentation standards
6. Maintain eligible and organized patient electronic health records in accordance with policy and requirements of the State of Minnesota
7. Attend weekly clinical consultation with other providers and additional meetings as deemed necessary.
8. Attend regularly scheduled supervision meetings in accordance with licensing board standards
9. Work collaboratively with all staff and programs at Northland Counseling Center, Inc.
