Job Title: Technical Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Mogadore, OH

General Responsibility:
Supports the efforts of a production shift by coordinating the technical aspects of the production process to include: scheduling and distribution of work/assignments to technical personnel, securing and coordinating materials, and equipment to achieve the most efficient utilization of machinery and labor hours. Provides the leadership and administration to support the efforts of the plant through the guidance and direction of all associates towards the achievement of plant goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and directs the day-to-day functions of the technical aspects of the production process.
• Manages and audits process control.
• Reallocates tasks or reschedules technical requirements as necessary.
• Manages and directs technical team members.
• Monitors and provides guidance and feedback on associates performance.
• Follows all company policies and procedures and insures that they are upheld.
• Oversees and or conducts training of new and existing associates.
• Responsible for promoting positive employee relations with associates by communicating all required information in a professional manner.
• Administrative duties including daily reports.
• Employee Relations responsibilities partnering with HR.
• Safety - incident reporting, accident investigation, etc.

*Job Qualifications and Requirements:*

• B.S. in Manufacturing/Operations/Engineering or related field preferred or 5-7 years supervisory experience in High Tonnage Injection Molding Operations
• Ability to plan, organize, execute, and manage the work of the technical staff.
• Ability to reason, make decisions, and use independent judgment in various situations.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, both in oral and written form, among different levels of the organization, and have ability to communicate with employees who use English as a second language.
• Must be organized, a team player and be committed to quality systems.
• Must be able to handle multiple-projects at a time, self-motivated and pro-active.
• Must have ability to supervise, train and motivate employees, interpret and communicate company goals, policies and procedures to departmental employees, maintain effective working relationship within department.
• Must have knowledge of MS Office applications.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work regular overtime as well as some irregular hours. Supervisor will be exposed to operator driven devices such as trimmers, drills, and routers. Supervisors will be exposed to heavy machinery, noise and plastic resins regularly. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Supervisors often stand throughout most of the workday. Supervisors will also be required to use a computer throughout the day.
