The great majority of our staff work remotely, but hybrid options are available based on our two office locations in Forest Hill, MD and Cockeysville, MD. Streamline is hiring a full time Payroll Associate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for advancement opportunities, flexible day-time schedule, and to work in a team environment. As an outsourced accounting firm, the Payroll Associate will work with multiple clients and become an integral part of offering this specific payroll service to internal and external customers.
Candidates must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a solid payroll processing background. You will be required to communicate effectively with business owners and entrepreneurs regarding aspects of wage and tax information as it pertains to payroll management. Other day to day functions include:
· Work with client staff and owners to facilitate weekly or biweekly payroll
· Assist staff with payroll/tax related questions
· Help with team tasks pertaining to payroll functions
· Report payroll (Year-end payroll additions)
· 401K reporting
· HSA Benefit reporting
· Annual reporting
· Year-end tax assistance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
