The Central Fill Pharmacist is responsible for conducting Pharmacist Verification at the closed-door Central Fulfillment Center, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions in the Central Fill prescription filling system. The Pharmacist will supervise and direct pharmacy technicians in accordance to the BoP guidelines, as well as provide process improvement ideas and Technician performance to the PIC. The Pharmacist will assist Pharmacist in Charge with all Quality Assurance activities related to keeping patients safe and complying with all state and local regulations along with Policies and Procedures of the company.
The position will be based in Ridgefield, WA. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday on an as needed basis.
Main responsibilities
- Pharmacist Verification of prescriptions.
- Supervision of Pharmacy Technicians as regulated by the BoP
- Responsible for helping the store pharmacy operations achieve their planned business objectives.
- All activities related to the preparation, dispensing and sale of prescription and pharmacy related products.
- Assist in developing and implementing CF programs to help meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume.
- Provide the Pharmacist in Charge updates on Pharmacy operations.
- Understands and complies with Best Practice Standards and execution by pharmacy staff when the Pharmacist in Charge is absent.
- Ensure compliance to all local, state, federal laws, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the training and development of pharmacy staff.
- Hold and maintain a clean Pharmacist Licensure in the home state.
- Must complete all required state, federal and company training programs (i.e. HIPAA, CDR, I-pledge, etc.)
- Confront complex pharmacy operational issues with situation specific business solutions.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- B.S. or doctorate (PharmD) in pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.
- Licensed Pharmacist in the CF home state for a minimum of 1 year.
- A minimum of 1 Retail Pharmacy experience.
- Preference for a closed-door pharmacy setting. (no adjudications or direct patient contact)
- Preferred: experience in a pharmacy central fulfillment setting.
- Experience in building, motivating, and maintaining an efficient Team.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to obtain out-of-state pharmacist licenses for non-resident licensure.
