A finance company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Promotions Coordinator to join their team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This position is responsible for assisting the marketing manager and assistant marketing manager as necessary. Must be fluent in Japanese. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits and 401k.

Bilingual Japanese/English Promotions Coordinator Duties:

• Plans, negotiates, and coordinates marketing campaigns, promotions and advertisements.
• Research and analyze the market trend in Hawaii.
• Maintains promotional & advertising tools, such as, Tabi-Lover, website product, smart phone application product.
• Creates flyers and various display tools for company and merchant use.
• Acts as a mediator in dealing with any complaints between merchants and customers.
• Handles advertisement for company and internal/external publishing.
• Collects and reports the required figures or market information such as the number of Japanese visitors, sales and transaction information of merchants.
• Assists with merchant promotional campaigns.
• Helps coordinate work-related activities.
• Coordinates monthly activity report of the Marketing team
• Maintains a good relationship with major stakeholders, such as travel agents, publishers, and major merchants.
• ISMS-related activities.
• And other duties as assigned.

Bilingual Japanese/English Promotions Coordinator Skills:

• Must be fluent in both written and spoken English and Japanese.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic knowledge of travel industry.
• Good geographical knowledge of Hawaii and the Hawaiian Islands area.
