Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical Job at Rochester Regional Health
SUMMARY
Is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, re-assessment and documentation of care of patients undergoing surgery. The RN provides care to patients in developmental stages. The RN is expected to adhere to accepted standards of nursing practice, functions within the role of expectations of the Surgical Services department.
$650 sign on bonus for qualified applicants!
STATUS: Per diem
LOCATION: Gouverneur Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Surgical Services Department
SCHEDULE: Variable shifts
ATTRIBUTES
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school no nursing
- Preferred: Previous Surgical Services experience.
- Preferred: Rhythm Course/ Critical Care Experience
- Preferred: ACLS, PALS, BLS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs a comprehensive patient assessment to identify patient needs. Performs testing, interventions and care specific to each patient and their needs.
- Implements and follows through with the plan of care for surgical patient
