ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Operates robotic weld equipment.
- Produces assemblies of metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards, including repetitive lifting and placing metal work pieces and sheets into fixtures.
- Measures dimensions of work pieces to ensure conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, templates, etc.
- Reads prints to determine specifications and accurately complete all required functions.
- Safely completes finishing functions such as grinding, sanding, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires knowledge of physical properties and welding characteristics of metal, effects of heat, welding shrinkage, welding techniques and allowance for thickness.
- Ability to read and understand welding procedures and procedure qualifying record (PQR's) for each procedure.
- Basic knowledge of ABB IRC5 Robotic Controller a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations. The functions of this position cannot be safely performed by anyone with a pacemaker.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
