Your New Role...

This role will support Warner Bros. Discovery Global Brands and Experiences franchise team with business planning & insights, financial modeling revenue and expense forecasting. Also supports financial modeling for division’s ultimate process, property evaluations and long-range franchise projections.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Franchise Planning and Development

  • Provide business leaders with financial data and insights to drive decision-making and enhanced understanding of the drivers of franchise profitability
  • Provides support in analyzing and evaluating new franchise opportunities and overall franchise health, including financial modeling and analysis e.g. size of the prize, white space opportunities
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly business assessment addressing franchise performance, emerging risks & opportunities, and other business insights necessary to maximize franchise performance

Financial Ultimates Support

  • Work with franchise and senior leadership to develop greenlight and financial ultimate projections. Assist in data analysis to deliver projections to theatrical and content finance teams, including loading of data into financial systems and KPI’s/key drivers of projections
  • Preparing, Uploading and Reconciling Financial Ultimates in SAP
  • Support Manager and Director responsible for Corporate ultimates and other franchise deliverables

Forecasting, Planning & Analysis

  • Complete and manage various revenue templates and variance analysis
  • Focus on setting up reports and optimizing processes with data collection and systems
  • Support expense pacing and updates for marketing, T&E, professional fees
  • Provide management reporting detailing spend and spend commitments to each department; work with budget manager to explain key drivers

Qualifications and Experience...

  • 3-5 years in FP&A, corporate development, strategic planning, management consulting or large accounting firm
  • Previous experience with media, entertainment, retail, or consumer products industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or similar field required
  • Advanced Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint required
  • Superior communication and presentation skills; must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons at all levels
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • High level of intellectual curiosity that sparks communication, collaboration, and innovation; must have a willingness to look beyond surface requirements.
  • Ability to adapt and be agile amongst a changing environment and to translate complex problems into solutions
  • Willingness to collaborate with management and peers to advance team and company goals
  • High degree of emotional intelligence and ability to flourish under pressure
  • Detail-oriented, but also able to summarize complex ideas succinctly and develop compelling narratives
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to expand knowledge relating to industry drivers and trends

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $72,247.00 - $134,172.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
