Staffing Coordinator Job at Cheltenham Nursing and Rehab. Center
Staffing Coordinator ensures that the schedule is set in a way that each shift is appropriately scheduled and within compliance with facility and state. This may involve rotating internal nursing employees to provide the facility with the best staff. The Staffing Coordinator is also required to maintain daily staffing reports and records so that each actively is logged properly.
Responsibility:
- Maintain Staffing operations across the board
- Obtain daily staff requests and fill them efficiently
- Report to DON on pattern of call outs and NCNS’s
- Provide copy call out slips to DON on a daily bases
- Verification of hourly reports with payroll and submit corrected staffing sheets to DON on daily basis
- Maintain accurate system for tracking staff over a variety of shifts
- Coordinate staff to meet the organization’s requirements
- Monitor overtime accumulation and attendance of employees
- Assist HR and payroll with hourly report and verification of time
- Maintain schedule for rotating staff
- Secure coverage for rotating staff
- Work with the payroll coordinator to verify payroll accuracy
- Process employee vacation request
- Make six week schedule available to staff on the bulletin board 2 weeks in advance
- Maintain attendance record
- Fill open slots in advance to minimize overtime
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
