Supervisor of Furniture Delivery Services Job at Surfside Casual Furniture
High-End custom furniture store seeks Delivery Supervisor with a minimum of
2 years experience overseeing a delivery team of 3-5 trucks. Applicant should be motivated, meticulous and hard-working, able to develop a team that will deliver White Glove Service for every customer.
Responsibilities: Hire new staff of Truck Drivers/Team Leaders and Delivery Team Assistants. Train all Delivery Team members to properly handle and assemble furniture.
Oversee Delivery schedule. Oversee loading of delivery trucks. Print all delivery paperwork and driver sheets each day. Inspect all Team members each morning prior to shift to maintain proper dress of uniform dress code. Check drivers in at the end of shift. Properly record all returned merchandise, document condition at time of return, and wrap and tag items until a resolution is determined. Process all delivery payments and paperwork. Ensure teams inspect and clean out their vehicles at end of shift. Make sure loading dock is clean at end of shift and ready for next day’s deliveries. Maintain and service all delivery vehicles including inspections, oil changes, lights and tires. Schedule for all repairs needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
