William Penn Academy (WPA), a Private Academic School, is seeking qualified certified classroom instructors to support its mission of preparing future leaders for the 21st century.
We are a new school opening in 2023 in Greenville, PA seeking instructors for Grades 9-12 in the areas of:
· English
· Social Studies
· Science
· Mathematics
· Art
· Physical Education
· Domestic & Consumer Science
We encourage all interested parties to apply. We are particularly interested in instructors seeking part-time schedules, who are interested in helping with other areas of school operation, or who hold dual-certification.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for subject area
- Excellent communications with students and parents
- Effective classroom management and utilization of support services for managing student behavior
- Capacity to create engaging lesson plans to stimulate student interest and engagement
- Professionalism in representing ACA and its mission
- Knowing and following ACA policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Education and Teaching Certification (covering grades 9-12)
- All clearances for classroom instruction in PA
