CONTINUUM Applied Technology, a division of CAMP, is the provider of the CORRIDOR software suite, which is one of the most widely used ERP systems for business aviation aircraft service centers. The CORRIDOR software suite is comprised of several modules, designed to enable aircraft service centers to manage almost every aspect of their business.

This intermediate role requires database skill (preferably Oracle) and strong technical troubleshooting expertise to help deliver a world class experience with Enterprise applications. The technical support engineer will support the successful installation, maintenance, and oversight of numerous databases and applications to support both established and emerging offerings. Additionally, this individual will thrive in fast paced environments, highly motivated, and be capable of prioritizing under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Product Support and other Teams to resolve escalated issues
  • Advise and collaborate with clients to drive customer success
  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and customer environments
  • Maintain numerous and varied databases installations for on-premises and cloud deployments on both Linux and Windows
  • Execute database alterations (DDL/DML) to support application upgrades
  • Manage backup routines and methodology for various database systems
  • Support other teams to resolve database-related issues
  • Monitor, analyze, and tune database performance
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery protocols for mission critical databases
  • Document database configurations and administrative procedures
  • Participate in rotating 7x24x365 support schedule

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience or a combination of education and professional experience
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Experience in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining Enterprise applications.
  • Experience in design, deployment, and administration of Oracle Databases
  • Experience deploying and administering systems and databases on AWS or Azure
  • Experience with Oracle backup methodologies utilizing RMan and DataPump.
  • Experience with Oracle database performance and SQL tuning.
