Utility Worker Job at Utility Management & Construction, LLC
Overview:
Utility Management & Construction, LLC is seeking Underground Utility Workers to work out of our Ochelata, OK location. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities preferred (water lines and equipment).
Responsibilities:
- Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on job site (Backhoe, Track hoe, Trencher, Vacuum Excavator, etc)
- Installation of pipe as required for underground utility
- Ability to locate buried water lines
- Flagging and Marking water lines
- Property or work site restoration
- Performs general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or Supervisor
- Performs other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities preferred. .
- Valid Drivers licensed preferred, CDL a plus
- Ability to withstand outdoor environment during all times of the year
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
- Must follow all safety rules when on the job site
- Experience operating heavy equipment a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
